Ray Rice buys his FB and O-linemen watches to thank them for great effort. So awesome of him to recognize that he couldn’t get where he is without those guys.
Ray Rice up for FedEx Ground Player of the Year. Vote here.
O’s name Ray Poitevint as Executive Director, International Baseball.
John Harbaugh expects every recently injured player to play on Sunday. Apparently the guys with concussions have not yet been 100% cleared, but it is only Monday.
You guys seemed to like that fill in the blank yesterday. Here’s another (I’ll post some of the good ones!) :
It’s his first game back after having knee surgery. He says he feels better than he has all season, after admitting to having a partial tear for quite some time. This weekend, Anquan Boldin will ______________________. ?
Ray Lewis being out (especially during a crucial game like this one) could really hurt them. We already found out what the Ravens were like without Ray Rice, now I guess we have to see what they’ll be like without the other Ray. However, I believe John Harbaugh when he says that you can’t count him out. Ray Lewis could talk me into doing pretty much anything, including jumping off a bridge, so I’m sure he could talk himself into playing. Question is, should he? I, personally, would rather have him be out now, than out during the playoffs (not jumping the gun here, just saying).
This horse-collar tackle business with Joe is absurd. Not only was I already fired up before I heard about it (I had a gingerbread latte about 15 minutes prior), but I actually got really mad. I understand the NFL is trying to be consistent with fines and everything like that (therefore, my argument is 95% invalid), but the dude is not taught how to tackle! He doesn’t know! And despite him throwing that interception, he was obviously the only one doing anything at that point in time, and the only one trying! Funny how Mike Tomlin also met with the NFL today to “discuss” the NFL targeting the Steelers with fines. Oh, the irony.
It’s Friday, which means it’s time for my predictions for this week’s game. It’s gonna be a tough one ladies and gents, but I’m predicting the Ravens to come out on top. This game also has the potential to be a kick-heavy game. As much as I would LOVE the Ravens to come out with a huge win, I think if Ray ends up not playing, it will allow the Bengals to come up with more points than they should. But, on the other hand, the Ravens do have the longest streak in the NFL with winning after a loss (11), and I don’t see them breaking it now. I got the Ravens, 27-21.
Predictions, scores, anything, about this weekend’s game?
